Urgent Measures for Someone Struggling Economically, Mentally, and Physically

1. Economic Measures

  • Cut Expenses Immediately: Stop unnecessary spending and focus on essential needs. Don’t hesitate to say, "I can't afford it." Saying this might even make you appear more confident. At the very least, you’ll feel more self-respect.
  • Review Your Income Sources: Evaluate your skills to improve your current job or find opportunities for additional income. Your talent lies in the actions you instinctively do without thinking.
  • Restructure Debts: If you have debts, review your payment plans and seek ways to reduce interest rates if possible.
  • Build an Emergency Fund: Save even a small amount to prepare for future crises. But don’t obsess over it—if your body takes it too seriously, it might create the crisis you’re preparing for. Set the money aside and forget about it.
  • When Everything Gets Better: Once you’re financially stable, allocate 2.5% of your earnings for the benefit of society or to help someone in need. The kindness you put out into the world will eventually find its way back to you—it’s an unchanging law of the universe.

2. Mental Measures

  • Seek Support: Talk to a trusted person or a professional therapist—don’t isolate yourself.
  • Practice Meditation and Breathing Exercises: Spend a few minutes daily doing mindfulness or deep breathing exercises to reduce stress.
  • Social Support: Spend time with loved ones and avoid prolonged isolation.
  • Read a Book About Someone Like You: Find a book where someone in a similar situation shares their life story. It will provide urgent motivation and quickly revive your hope. If you don’t know which book to read, send an email to pinarbekci@peu.com.tr describing your current situation, and we’d be happy to recommend books for you.
  • Take a Walk in Nature: Do this no matter the weather—rainy or sunny. Reconnect with the earth and start nourishing yourself from the source. If you don’t have access to nature, grow something in a pot. Watching your plant grow will give you the motivation you need.
  • Give a Self-Interview as if the Whole World Is Listening: Sit down and imagine you’re on a global TV show, summarizing your life. Admit your mistakes, list the good things you’ve done, and state what you truly want to achieve. As you hear yourself speak, your problems will start to seem natural and solvable, and solutions will emerge.
  • Watch a Good Movie: If you need recommendations, feel free to contact us at pinarbekci@peu.com.tr.

3. Health Measures

  • Take Care of Your Nutrition: Reduce sugar, processed foods, and fast food. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Close your eyes and focus on the area of your body experiencing health issues. Imagine it being washed with green or golden light. If you have stomach pain, hold your breath briefly and release it—this will help your body "switch to problem-solving mode" and relieve the tension causing the pain.
  • Move Your Body: Walking and exercising daily will improve both mental and physical health. Stand barefoot on the ground. Take a warm shower and visualize the water washing away your health problems.
  • Regulate Your Sleep: Quality sleep helps reduce stress and allows your body to recover. Before you sleep, set an intention and trust that the answers to your problems will be revealed to you in a dream or the following day. You will receive the guidance you need.
  • Seek Professional Help if Necessary: If your health issues are serious, don’t hesitate to consult a doctor. If possible, choose an experienced professional rather than someone new to the field.

By taking these steps, you can start recovering both economically and mentally. Begin with the area that challenges you the most—it will make the biggest impact.
